It didn’t take long to hear a roar from the first tee at the United States Disc Golf Championships. On the fourth card of the day, Sweden’s Henrick Johansen hit a beautiful ace on hole one. As a lefty, Johansen threw a slight turnover that nailed the bottom of the band and dropped in for the ace. Video doesn’t really do this ace justice. It was one of the smoothest turnover shots you’ll see.

Sitting in our media workroom, it was an energizing feeling to hear the roar from the crowd that as already gathered to watch the first round of the tournament.
