Top Innova Storylines from the 2026 Champions Cup

Knocking on the Door at the Season’s First Major

Team Innova’s FPO lineup continues its strong start to the 2026 season, highlighted by a near-miss at the top by Henna Blomroos. On the MPO side, Calvin Heimburg is trending in the right direction, with steady improvement at each event so far this year.

Henna Blomroos – 2nd

Henna Blomroos delivered one of the most impressive performances we’ve seen in 2026, finishing just one stroke shy of the title while separating herself by seven strokes from the rest of the field.

She averaged 1005 for the event, one of only two players this season to clear the 1000-rated mark at a tournament. She got off to statement start, firing a 1018-rated, -6 opener, then backing it up with another hot round on day two.

Statistically, Henna dominated off the tee. She led the field in C1 and C2 Hits in Regulation, Scramble Rate, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green by a wide margin, while also taking the fewest OB strokes in the field. It was the kind of all-around performance that wins most events. This time, it ran into an exceptional final round from the eventual champion.

Still, this showing reinforces what’s been building. Henna has the talent to win at the highest level. With this level of consistency across multiple rounds, it feels less like a question of if and more like when she breaks through for a DGPT or Major title.

Ohn Scoggins – 4th

Ohn Scoggins continues to stack elite finishes, landing in 4th place at the 2026 Champions Cup. With every finish inside the Top 5 so far this season, she now sits just behind the lead in the DGPT World Standings. The formula remains the same: steady, positive, lethal on the putting green, and always in contention.

Iida Lehtomäki – 5th

Iida Lehtomäki proved her 2025 World Championship breakout was no fluke with another strong showing on one of the sport’s biggest stages. With a 5th-place finish at Champions Cup, she let the field know she has a special talent for Majors. Her composure stands out, especially given her age, and her trajectory points toward becoming a regular contender.

Calvin Heimburg – T5

Calvin Heimburg has found his rhythm. After a slower start to the year, his finishes have improved in each of his four events. T5 at the Major continues that upward trend. If it holds, a podium or better feels close.

Eveliina Salonen – T6

Eveliina Salonen showed flashes of her elite ceiling in just her second start of the season.

While round two brought some struggles on the green, her putting overall looked improved, a key factor in unlocking more wins. She led the field in Parked Percentage and closed the tournament in style with a 270-foot eagle throw-in on the final hole.
