Just one week after completing the Career Grand Slam, Eveliina Salonen nearly added another title to her stellar season. Calvin Heimburg also finished runner-up at the 2026 Swedish Open, while Rebecca Don continued her strong run with another Top 10 finish.
There was no post-Major slowdown for Eveliina Salonen. One week after winning the European Open, she stormed back with a career-best 1041-rated, 10-under final round to erase a four-stroke deficit and force a playoff against Silva Saarinen. After four playoff holes, Saarinen finally pulled away with a birdie, leaving Eveliina with a hard-fought runner-up finish.
Eveliina was clutch down the stretch, converting every Circle 1 putt during the final round, including each of her playoff attempts. She averaged 1006-rated for the tournament, a performance that would have been enough to win most events.
Eveliina led the field in Circle 1 Hits in Regulation, Circle 2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green, continuing the elite tee-to-green play that has become her trademark. She also finished among the tournament’s best putters for the second straight week, converting 90% of her Circle 1 putts. Despite playing three fewer events than every player ahead of her, Eveliina now sits sixth in the DGPT standings.

Calvin Heimburg added his second straight Top 5 finish in Europe, this time missing the title by a single stroke. He averaged 1060-rated across the tournament and once again found himself in contention on the final day.
He finished second in the field in Scramble Rate and third in Strokes Gained Tee to Green. He remains third in the DGPT standings.
