Team Innova’s Biggest Wins from the 2025 DGPT Season

Three Career-Defining Seasons

Eveliina Salonen had one of the best stretches we’ve seen on Tour in years, hitting back-to-back tournament aces and winning three straight events. Calvin Heimburg went from the best player without a Major title to Major Champion, then capped his year with the DGPT Championship. And Ohn Scoggins delivered the season’s most memorable storyline, winning both Pro Worlds and Masters Worlds in the same year. It took Team Innova a few events to find our rhythm, but once we did, multiple athletes had career-defining wins.

US Women’s Disc Golf Championship

Eveliina Salonen earned the first win of the season for Team Innova, and it was a big one. At the 2025 US Women’s Disc Golf Championship, she opened with a 1020-rated, eight-under round. That performance included an ace on Hole 16, the shot that set the tone for her week. Under late-round pressure, she delivered four birdies in the final six holes to close out the Major.

Eveliina led the tournament in Scramble Rate, Circle 1 and Circle 2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. This win marked her first US Women’s title and her fourth career Major.

European Disc Golf Championship

One week later, Eveliina backed up her Major win with the European Championship title in Norway. She trailed by six after the opening round, but a 124-meter (407-foot) ace on Hole 12 in round two ignited her comeback and became one of the most replayed shots of the season. She fought into a playoff and closed it out with controlled, mistake-free golf in heavy wind.

Eveliina led the field in Parked Percentage, Circle 1 Hits in Regulation, and Circle 2 Hits in Regulation—another win built from elite tee-to-green play. Two Sundays, two trophies, and perhaps a new favorite heading into the next event of the season.

PCS Open

Eveliina made it three straight victories at the 2025 PCS Open. She entered the final round six strokes behind but shot the hot round of the day to take control when it mattered most. Her seven-under closer was calm and composed—no ace this time, just elite decision-making and execution.

Once again, she led the field in Fairway Hits, Circle 1 and Circle 2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. With three wins in a row, Eveliina had turned a solid season into an elite season.

European Disc Golf Festival – Calvin’s First Major

Calvin Heimburg’s first PDGA Major came in Estonia at the 2025 European Disc Golf Festival, and it was the performance of his career. He shot a record-setting 1080 event rating at 49-under over four rounds. Calvin played bogey-free golf on Championship Sunday and, with the pressure at its peak on Hole 18, lined up a 42-foot putt for the win and buried it. He celebrated with the biggest fist pump we’ve seen from Vinny as he put to bed any questions about whether he would ever win a Major.

He led the field in Birdie Percentage, Fairway Hits, Scramble Rate, Circle 1 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green, taking zero OB strokes the entire event. Already one of the most consistent players in the sport, he now has the title that changes careers: Major Champion.

PDGA Pro World Championship

Ohn Scoggins won the 2025 PDGA Pro World Championship in Finland, becoming the first player ever to win Masters Worlds and Pro Worlds in the same season. At 44 years old, she is also the oldest Open division World Champion in PDGA history. She forced a playoff with a clutch birdie on 18 and then won in overtime, overcome by emotion from the biggest win of her career.

She led the tournament in Scramble Rate, Circle 1 Putting, Strokes Gained C1X, Strokes Gained C2, and total Strokes Gained Putting. Even under pressure, she never changed who she is. On the 16th fairway down the stretch—with a world title on the line—she could be heard rooting for an opponent’s disc to stay in bounds. A fan favorite and a respected role model in the sport, Ohn earned a well-deserved place in the spotlight with this win.

Rising Talent: Iida Lehtomäki

At just 15 years old, Iida Lehtomäki finished runner-up at Pro Worlds, one stroke away from becoming the youngest World Champion ever. She led the tournament in Birdie Percentage and Bogey Avoidance, with essentially one bad hole on Moving Day costing her the win. Her performance marked the arrival of a new future contender on Team Innova.

Idlewild

Ohn stayed hot after Worlds, following her win in Finland with a wire-to-wire victory at Idlewild. She opened with the hot round and never gave up the lead, separating from the field with elite Circle 2 putting and clean decision-making in the woods. She ultimately won by a margin of seven. It was a complete performance that showed no World Championship hangover—just momentum.

DGPT Championship

Calvin Heimburg closed the season with one more statement win, taking down the DGPT Championship. He entered the final stretch five strokes back with five to play, then delivered one of the strongest finishes of the year. Vinny eagled Hole 15 with a 56-foot putt using his Signature KC Pro Aviar, attacked when others laid up on 16, and played controlled golf to the finish. He led the event in Circle 2 Putting and Circle 1 Hits in Regulation, ending his best season yet with the Tour’s final trophy.
