2025 Tim Selinske US Masters Championship Presented by Innova

Honoring the Past, Looking Toward the Future

The 2025 Tim Selinske US Masters Championship is this weekend, May 8–11, 2025, in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Each year, this PDGA Major brings together the best disc golfers aged 40 and over for a weekend of serious competition, alongside fun and laughs between reconnecting old friends. Post-produced coverage will be available on the PDGA Youtube channel and the event is free to spectate on-site.

Tim Selinske’s Legacy

Originally called the US Masters Disc Golf Championship, this event was renamed in honor of Innova Co-Founder and PDGA Hall of Famer, Tim Selinske, in 2009. Tim both created the US Masters and was the event’s first Tournament Director, but those are far from the only reasons he deserves a Major in his name.

As Innova’s General Manager and spokesperson, Tim’s passion and positivity made him a central figure in the growth of the company and the sport. His focus on competition with a spirit of fun defines what disc golf is all about. The work he did to grow the sport, and his attitude along the way, left a lasting legacy that is celebrated annually at the Tim Selinske Masters.

Multiple Courses to Test Multiple Skills

This year’s championship will take place across several courses in Ruidoso, including Grindstone Park, Moon Mountain, Oso Canyon, and a new course at Alto Lake, which opened in early April. The city of Ruidoso committed $70,000 in course development to ensure competitors have a wide range of challenges across multiple top-tier tracks.

Local Leadership and Community Support

Tournament Director, Everett Brophy, is leading the charge for the event in 2025. In his roles as New Mexico PDGA State Coordinator and Vice Chairman of the Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Commission, Everett has significantly boosted the local disc golf scene over the past five years. His efforts, along with strong local support from the town, ensure that the 2025 Tim will balance Major-worthy competition with major enjoyment for all, just the way Tim Selinske would have wanted it.

Ruidoso, a tourist-friendly town nestled in the mountains, will offer participants and spectators an epic backdrop as they experience the event. The town has fully committed to supporting the tournament with funding, volunteer services, and off-course activities, making it a destination for fans and athletes. We can’t wait to see you there!
